I came from Serbia. I'm 4. grade student of japanology at the University of Belgrade. Because I wish to speak Japanese fluently I came to Japan. At the Fukushima University, I've been studying for half a year. I love Fukushima because it has beautiful nature. On this occasion, I would like to show you some of the wonderful days I had in Fukushima.

This is a picture taken in a place we were resting at when carrying a mikoshi during participate in the Iizaka Festival last October.

The Iiizaka Festival is the first festival I participated in Japan. It was truly a pleasure. Before the festival, we changed into happi and put on nejirihachimaki. It was sunny on that day and there were lots of places on the sun in the town. My skin is really pale, so I easily got sunburned. I had whiteness only in the place where there was nejirihachimaki. So please be careful if you wear it. We were carrying the mikoshi in two groups. The group that wouldn't carry it walked around with balloons giving it to the children. Seeing children's happy faces made me happy too.

This is a picture I took at the top of the mountain when I was climbing Ryozan with my friends last November.

When I climbed, I saw a lot of maples and beautiful leaves of other trees and took a lot of pictures. I wanted to see monkeys as well. Luckily, the weather was really good. However, the previous day, it rained a lot, a lot of leaves fell, and the mountain is very steep, so it was very difficult when we were going down. And we could not see a monkey. It's a pity, but it was a fun day.

This is a picture I took at a ryokan and a izakaya in Iizaka at the bar hopping tour last November.

In this bar hopping tour, I wore yukata for the first time. I love pink, so I chose a pink yukata, of course. It was November, I thought it was going to be very cold, but it was not cold at all. In this izakaya I drank a glass of umeshu and ate gyoza, and then went to a footbath. I loved the footbath. It warmed me and helped me relax. After that, we went to another izakaya and did karaoke.

This is a picture I took at Fukushima Terrsa at the end of the dance recital last December.

In the dance lesson, we did this big recital instead of the exam. Everyone did it together from first graders to fourth graders. In this picture it's only the first grade. The theme of our presentation was "Start". Everyone wore a uniform in the beginning. And throughout the presentation we changed clothes. Lastly, we danced in this green trainer and black trousers. Because Japanese students are really good at dancing, it was a lot of fun to dance with these students.
