I would like to introduce four of my experiences.
First, my attitude and motivation in globalism changed after I joined this program because this program in Turkey was very interesting and became great experience for me. I went to Turkey and abroad for the first time, so everything that around me were very fresh. At first, Turkish is kind and friendly. I can't speak English very well but Turkish talked with me and helped my English. Turkish spook easy English so I could understand English easier. I thought that I must speak English perfectly until now. But now, I noticed that even if it is not perfect, it is important to speak actively. Actually, I could speak only words and only a little English in this program. In other words, I didn't feel embarrassed any more to speak unskillful English. I think that this change is very important. To communicate with foreigner is very interesting so I thought my attitude and motivation toward study-abroad, research, and understanding in globalism are rise and I want to go abroad for a long time.
Second, I learned agriculture most about a seedling in particular. I was impressed in a company as Hishtil-Toros Seeding. This company grafts many seedlings and makes many strong seedlings for the various climates like the Mediterranean. For example, an upper part of seedlings is watermelon and a lower part of seedlings is pumpkin. Both of them are combined to make the taste good and make sickness a strong seedling. In spite of graft seedlings is difficult work, employee in this company grafts by handwork. I was very surprised. After that, the temperature of the seedlings and the humidity are being managed in greenhouse. And the seedlings that match for customer's needs are sold. I found that many production which is grafted like tomato, watermelon, eggplant and so on are famous in Turkey. My major is economic so I didn't know agriculture in detail. But I could know about strategy and strength of agriculture.
Third, I felt that characteristic of the Turkey. For example, the view, foods, shops, and ancient city. I visited and saw many sightseeing spot in Turkey. The Mediterranean and the Aegean are clearer and more beautiful than Japan so I could enjoyed swimming there and seeing view with my friends and my teachers. Next, about Turkish foods. In Turkey, I could eat many kind of kebab, vegetables like tomato and cucumber, fruits and pizza and sweets. The vegetables and fruits are fresh and taste so good because it is made in Turkey and directly from the farm. Next, about shops. I visited supermarket and am impressed. The supermarkets in Turkey have many kinds of production. Of course, food, cloths, sunglass, bath goods and souvenir are sold in Turkish supermarket. It is a large amount of contents of each production but very cheap so it's very reasonable for consumer. Finally, about ancient city. I visited some ancient city in Antalya, Izmir and Istanbul. The waterway is development long ago there. It's very mysterious. Such as this, I saw characteristic which Turkey has. I could experience the special quality of the country besides Japan.
Forth, I came to be more interested in study-abroad through this program because I want to know another country's culture and speak English very well and make many foreign friends. I was interested in study-abroad before I go to Turkey. I found that the oversea is very interesting and have many attractions. Next time, I want to go English speaking countries mainly to learn English. In this program, I thought things which I want to tell many times, but don't tell to Turkish and other foreign people. It is a little trouble for I and foreigner. If I can speak English more than now, I and foreigner will be friendly more than this time. After that, I want to join study-abroad to learn development economics and foreign culture for many countries like the Europe and the Asian. To join study-abroad makes me grow up. It is very important so I want to join another study-abroad.
At last, Looking back, these last two weeks went by quickly. I enjoyed this program and this become my precious experience. If I go to Turkey again, I want to stay for long time, for about six months or one year because I want to know about Turkey. For example, language, food, Turkish city, Turkish kindness, and so on. Turkish made it very kind with Japanese so I would like to return the favor for Turkey. I think that to know about Turkey very much becomes to return the favor so I will study more than now. For my friends, my teachers in Turkey, I want to say "Tesekkur edrim" mean "Thank you very much".
