During the last month of the first semester, I was very busy because the exams were approaching, so most of my time was spent studying and preparing. Fortunately, the exams were not too difficult, and I managed to achieve quite good grades, which was a relief after the intensive period.

At the beginning of February, I visited the Yuki Matsuri in Hokkaido. It was my first time traveling to Hokkaido, so everything felt new and exciting. The festival itself was very interesting, with impressive snow sculptures and a lively atmosphere. There was also an incredible amount of snow, much more than I had ever seen before, which made the whole experience even more special.

After the first semester ended, the nearly two-month-long spring break began, which gave me the opportunity to both relax and explore more. I spent a lot of time working, but I also traveled to China for two weeks, which was a great chance to experience a different culture and environment. After returning to Japan, a hungarian friend of mine visited me in Tokyo for one week. During her stay, we explored many of the main sights together, walked around the city a lot, and tried different kinds of food. Luckily, the weather was clear enough for us to see Mount Fuji, which was a memorable moment.

Toward the end of the break, the cherry blossom season started, which I had been really looking forward to. I visited several places to see the blossoms, both with other exchange students and on my own, including Hanamiyama, Aizu Tsurugajo, and Tokyo. Each location had its own unique atmosphere, and it was interesting to see how people gather to enjoy the flowers. The cherry blossoms were incredibly beautiful, and it was nice that the weather also became warmer during this time.

Around mid-April, the second semester began. We selected our courses and are now trying to get back into the routine of university life after the long break. This semester, I chose different classes compared to the previous one in order to try new subjects and gain different perspectives. So far, I am enjoying them and find them engaging. Golden Week is also approaching, which is a popular holiday period when many people travel across Japan.

I am really looking forward to it and planning to make the most of that time as well. In this semester too, I plan to put effort into my studies while also trying to enjoy and appreciate the remaining time I have in Fukushima as much as possible.
