At first, I appreciate everyone who helped me and supported me. Thank you very much. Through this program, my communication skill and English were improved.

From now on, I am going to talk about stay in Turkey. Then I have four things to write in this report.

Turkish People

First one is national characters in Turkey. It was amazing. I was just impressed by Turkish people. They were really kind for everyone, even for strangers. I will give you a example. I got really heartful treatment by Turkish people who can't speak English. When I was shopping in market, I was looking for some tea. I was not able to find it. Then I started to be worried what I was not able to get it. But then one elderly man talked to me in easy English. It seemed almost Turkish. But thanks to him, I can find the tea. I am sure this is really national character in Turkey.

Antalya

From now, I am going to talk about stay in Antalya. This is very first time to visit Turkey. So I was so excited. And I was really happy to see the ocean when I arrived in Antalya. It was so beautiful beach. I still miss it. And also we had pool too. Then we were able to enjoy both of them. We had a place to gather near the beach. Around the beach, I was able to talk to local people. Then we talked our lives in our own countries. I found it there are differences between us. It was natural we have differences, but I noticed it is good thing to find differences. It makes me interested in Turkey. At the bar, we were also able to talk to some local students. I absolutely had a good time. And then I can get closed to students from Niigata University. And we could get the information about local events from Turkish students and local people. This is also great experience for me.

Before that, I noticed one thing. it is that I was able to see too many national flags when I arrived in Antalya. I guess this is first difference between Japan and Turkey. They love their own country.

I have visited some companies in Antalya. At first, I was very nervous because my major is not agriculture. But people in companies tried to explain their activities easily because they knew we do not study agriculture. Then I can understand some their lecture and explanation. After that, we visited many historical remains. They were really great for me. I am not able to see them in Japan. They are almost made of rocks. Then they can still be there for over thousand years. At the same time, I found Turkey has really deep history. It cannot be compared with Japan and other countries. It was good for me to see them.

Izmir

I am going to talk about stay in Izmir. I thought Izmir was like Okinawa in Japan. In turn, Izmir is like Taipei in Taiwan. Izmir has too many buildings in small area. It is like Asian. That is why I think so. Then I had chances to take a lot of lectures. Tell the truth, I want to have one economics lecture in Turkey because almost students from Fukushima University study economics. But I can study agriculture. And then I was able to study economics for agriculture. Economics have relationships to all things. Then this program made me study economics more. My motivation for economics really got better.

And then I had good times in Izmir, too because Turkish students took us a nice restaurant in Izmir. Then I got chances to get cultural communications with people in Turkey, Germany, Russia and the US. I do not think I can have same chance in Japan when I spend the days normally.

Istanbul

I am going to talk about stay in Istanbul. Istanbul is like European countries. And I got heavy rain for the first time in Istanbul since I arrived in Turkey. And we stayed in luxury hotel. It was amazing. Then I enjoyed it too much.

Final day in Turkey, we went to Grand Bazaar. It was so crowded like Kyoto in Japan. We enjoyed shopping for their souvenirs. Before that, on the way to there, I got really surprising memory. We rode on the taxi to there, then speed was really fast. It was like 130 km/h in public road! I did not feel I was alive. But I just think it is also national character in Turkey.

In total, I enjoyed Turkey and learned a lot of things about agriculture and cultural points in Turkey. And also I was really happy with meals in Turkey. Everything in Turkey is really great! They have great meat, fish and vegetable, etc. In that way, I truly love Turkey too. As a conclusion, I really appreciated everyone who related to me. Especially, I am really thankful to professors and staffs. Through this program, I got a lot of experiences to improve myself. Thank you so much.
